Shire Meeting

Council or Business Meeting

Shire meetings are where we discuss the upcoming events and activities, hear reports from our officers, guilds, households, and folks planning tournaments and other events within the Shire. No costumes or garb are required.

Because the Society is a volunteer organization, everyone can have input. You do not need to be a "paid" member to participate at the local shire level. We want to hear from everyone, and the Shire Meeting is our once-monthly place to bring your ideas to the entire group. We vote on how our money we raised will be used, find out who's going to additional events, who needs volunteers, who can carpool together, and other planning activities. Please join us — it's a great way to meet the local group.

Shire meetings are held every 2nd Wednesday in Oxnard, unless otherwise noted on the Calendars (such as a conflict with a major holiday or SCA event). Business starts at 6:45 pm, meeting ends between 7:45 and 8 pm.
