Textiles Guild (or Sewing Workshops)
Textiles are usually held Tuesday Nights at Albra's in Ventura (first, and third Tuesdays) or Morgana's in Oxnard (second, and fourth Tuesdays).
Feel free to bring a sketchbook or notebook to take notes while looking through our hostess's library of costuming and history. Bring sewing projects for assistance and consultation, or just bring your ideas and find out where to get started. Costuming is not as hard as you think, and there are plenty of things you can learn to get started. Please call in advance to confirm you'll be attending.
Additional activites such as jewelry making, scribal arts, carving , shoe making, etc. are always welcome at meetings. Bring your current project, share and/or ask questions.
